Position Overview

The Lead Service Delivery Specialist is responsible for leading the entire service delivery process, managing a team of specialists, and implementing strategic initiatives that optimize service efficiency and quality. This role involves overseeing project execution, acting as a senior advisor to clients, and setting the strategic direction for service delivery operations. As the lead, you will also ensure that best practices are followed and that the team delivers consistent, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end service delivery process, ensuring projects meet organizational standards and client expectations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of service delivery specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-level client interactions, resolving escalated issues and providing strategic guidance.
  • Develop and implement service delivery best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineering, and sales, to align service delivery with business objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in service delivery, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL), and process optimization.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong client relationships.
  • Experience with data analysis, performance metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proficiency with project management software, CRM tools, and other relevant systems.
  • A degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
