Position Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software and hardware solutions at client sites. This role involves collaborating with project teams, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that technical solutions meet client expectations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support and ensuring smooth operation of software and systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and integrate software and hardware solutions at customer locations, ensuring seamless system functionality.
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to deliver projects on schedule and to specifications.
  • Perform system testing, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Document technical configurations, support cases, and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients, helping them effectively utilize software and systems.
  • Stay current with technological advancements, tools, and methodologies relevant to software and system deployment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in field service, technical support, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in software and hardware installation, configuration, and integration processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Working knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and networking protocols.
  • Experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours as required.
  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
